For twenty-five years Melodie has designed and delivered innovative programs in leadership and communication, coaching managers and executives, including CEOs of fortune 500 companies, to help them both improve performance, and increase their sense of purpose in work.  She has worked extensively in international, cross-cultural environments, with individuals and with teams.  Melodie complements her extensive program design experience and skills with adept listening, rigorous problem solving and commercial acumen.  She is therefore able to address each client’s highest priority learning and development needs.

Prior to THE LEARNING PRACTICE, Melodie worked for Harvard University where she produced award winning science education television programs in partnership with the Smithsonian Institution, National Science Foundation, the Annenberg Corporation, and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.  Previously she worked for many years as a theatre director, actor and dancer. Melodie also received a Rockefeller Foundation fellowship for her work in integrating the arts in education.

Melodie’s background in theatre including acting, voice, movement and improvisation, together with her commitment to personal insight and development, inform her distinctive approach to learning and personal change.

Melodie holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology and Learning Theory from Harvard University.

Melodie divides her time between Paris and Los Angeles, and inher free time enjoys yoga, writing, and spending time with her two grown daughters and grandchildren.
